The awareness-raising event addressed the nature and economic benefits of quality infrastructure and highlighted the requirements of relevant regulatory legal acts.
An open lecture on quality infrastructure was organized for students through the joint efforts of the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.
Yunus Huseynov, an employee of the Standardization, Technical Regulation and Certification Department, delivered a presentation entitled “Quality Infrastructure: Metrology, Standardization, Accreditation and Technical Regulation.”
During the awareness-raising event, participants were provided with detailed information on the nature, key elements, scope, and structure of quality infrastructure. Its economic benefits were explained through practical examples, and comprehensive information was provided on the regulatory legal framework governing the relevant field.
In addition, the students were briefed on the technical regulation system and its implementation mechanisms, the role of technical regulations in ensuring product safety, and the sectors to which such regulations apply.
The event concluded with answers to questions from the students.
