The Memorandum of Cooperation aims to establish and expand institutional cooperation, as well as develop mechanisms for long-term partnership.
Khamis Seyranov, Director General of the Azerbaijan Metrology Institute (AzMİ) operating under the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, paid a working visit to the Republic of Poland.
As part of the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation on Scientific and Technical Cooperation was signed between the Central Office of Measures (GUM) of the Republic of Poland and AzMİ.
The document provides for cooperation in the exchange of experience and technical knowledge in the field of metrology, the development and improvement of measurement methodologies, as well as the enhancement of professional capacity through seminars and training programs.
During the visit, the activities of the Central Office of Measures were reviewed, including visits to the laboratories of its Time and Length, Electricity and Radiation, Mechanics and Acoustics, and Physico-Chemical and Environmental Metrology Departments.
