An educational meeting was held by the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan with entrepreneurs operating at the “Gold Ganjlik” and “Sharq Bazari” shopping centers.

The meeting was organized to provide entrepreneurs with information on the legal requirements governing the circulation of products made of precious metals and gemstones, raise awareness of the implementation of the state assay control system, and exchange views on practical issues arising in the sector.

During the meeting, participants were informed about the requirements governing the circulation of precious metals and gemstones, assaying procedures, the rules for conducting state assay control, and the rights and obligations of business entities. Information was also provided on the application of state fees and payment procedures related to assaying services. In addition, participants were informed about the liability established under the legislation for the circulation of products made of precious metals without an official hallmark.

The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, during which entrepreneurs’ questions were addressed and their feedback and suggestions were discussed.
