The meetings focused on the development of international cooperation in accreditation, mutual recognition mechanisms, and strategic priorities for the organization’s future activities.

Emin Zeynalov, Director of the Azerbaijan Accreditation Centre (AzAK), a subordinate institution of the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, paid a working visit to the Republic of Indonesia. As part of the visit, he participated in the annual meetings of the Asia-Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) held in Bali.

The event brought together representatives of accreditation bodies from numerous countries, regional cooperation organizations, and international institutions, providing an important platform for strengthening international cooperation in accreditation, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience, and advancing mutual recognition mechanisms.

The program included meetings of working groups, seminars, and sessions of technical committees, during which participants exchanged views on current issues in accreditation and international best practices. The agenda also covered organizational matters, approval of the agenda and minutes of previous meetings, governance reports, financial statements, membership-related issues, and opportunities for expanding cooperation with international partners.

In the official reports of the event, AzAK was highlighted under the status of “New Member Economy.”

The meetings concluded with the adoption of key decisions concerning APAC’s strategic development priorities and the development of action plans for the organization’s committees.

APAC is a leading regional organization promoting cooperation in accreditation across the Asia-Pacific region. By facilitating the mutual recognition of accreditation results, APAC contributes to strengthening international confidence in conformity assessment activities, supporting the development of accreditation systems, and expanding cooperation among economies in the region.

AzAK was admitted as a full member of APAC under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 on August 3, 2025.
