The meeting provided information on the use of the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az), relevant legislative requirements, and measures implemented by the State Agency in this area.

An educational meeting on services provided through the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az) was held by the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with representatives of more than 20 accredited conformity assessment bodies engaged in inspection activities.

In his opening remarks, Elmeddin Guluyev, Head of the Department of Standardization, Technical Regulation and Certification at the State Agency, provided information on amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Accreditation in the Field of Conformity Assessment.” It was noted that, under the new requirements, the preparation, registration, suspension, reinstatement, cancellation, and re-issuance of inspection reports issued by accredited inspection bodies must be carried out exclusively through the Quality Information System.

The meeting continued with a presentation by Behruz Bakhshaliyev, Head of a Sector within the Department of Standardization, Technical Regulation and Certification, on statistical indicators concerning documents generated and formalized through the system. Information was also provided on measures taken by the State Agency in relation to entities operating in violation of conformity assessment legislation.

The participants were also informed about the advantages of inspection bodies preparing electronic reports for clients using ASAN İmza or digital signatures, as well as the opportunities provided by the system for real-time verification of documents authenticated with QR codes. It was emphasized that digitalization in the field of conformity assessment will contribute to ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, reducing operational risks, and improving the sustainability and efficiency of services.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on participants’ proposals, followed by a Q&A session addressing their questions.
