The State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues to conduct awareness-raising activities aimed at promoting compliance with legislative requirements governing the circulation of jewelry made of precious metals and precious stones. As part of these efforts, the Agency held another meeting with entrepreneurs engaged in jewelry retail at the “Khalklar Dostlugu” Shopping Center.

During the meeting, participants were informed about the procedures for assaying jewelry products and the application of state fees in this area. They were also briefed on the liability prescribed by law for the circulation of precious metal products without an official hallmark, as well as the rights and obligations of business entities.

It was emphasized that compliance with these requirements is essential for ensuring that consumers receive accurate information about jewelry products, protecting their rights and interests, and promoting fair competition in the market.
