The Chairman of the Agency presented the state honor to employees awarded the “Taraggi” Medal pursuant to the relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijan Metrology Institute (AzMİ), which operates under the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held a ceremony to present the “Taraggi” Medals awarded to its employees pursuant to an Order signed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in recognition of their services to the development of metrology.
In his opening remarks, Elnur Baghirov, Chairman of the Agency, congratulated the employees, noting that their state-level recognition clearly reflected the high regard for their work and the confidence placed in them. He stressed that developing Azerbaijan’s metrology system in line with international standards and strengthening the pool of qualified professionals remain among the Agency’s key priorities, and he pointed to the importance of accurate and reliable measurements for the economy as well as AzMİ’s achievements in this field.
He then presented the state awards to the employees honored with the “Taraggi” Medal under the President’s Order.
Speaking at the ceremony, Khamis Seyranov, Director General of the Azerbaijan Metrology Institute, thanked the state on behalf of the Institute’s staff for this high-level recognition of their work.
The Agency also presented medals to employees who had earned the honorary title of “Distinguished Metrologist of COOMET” from the Euro-Asian Cooperation of National Metrological Institutions (COOMET).
The event closed with words of appreciation for the employees’ effective work in metrology and wishes for their continued success and future achievements.
