The Agency continues to strengthen its cooperation with higher education institutions in order to give young people practical experience in public service, support their professional development and expand the pool of qualified personnel.
An event marking the completion of the internship programme was held at the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, attended by students who interned at the Agency from May to August 2026.
Ilgar Hasanov, Deputy Chairman of the Agency, and Ayten Huseynova, Head of the Human Resources Division, delivered remarks at the event, outlining the Agency’s main areas of activity, corporate values and career opportunities for young people. The results of the internship programme were also discussed, and the students shared their impressions and the knowledge and skills they gained during the internship.
In total, 24 students from Baku State University, the Public Administration Academy under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ADA University, Khazar University and the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) interned at the Agency over this period.
To develop the students’ practical knowledge and skills, an individual internship programme was drawn up for each intern in the Agency’s various structural divisions. Their performance was assessed by mentors on the basis of responsibility, discipline, attendance, teamwork, willingness to learn and improve, and other key criteria.
Following the assessment, the participants were awarded certificates.
